'Hyperspace Junkie' is the sixth track on the debut album 'Understood' by Baychimo Kin
lyrics
'Hyperspace Junkie' lyrics by Conrad Williams:
Last contact with mission control, Now the radio has gone.
We’re moving in to position now, The count down has begun.
Muted mics and lights down dim, We’ve switched all shields on.
We’re gearing up for hyperdrive, And the phasers locked to stun.
falling through heaven through this vacuum here in space
Did I really find an angel is that star dust on her face
When I look at her she could have fallen from space into the clouds
But the smile on her face is frozen is this a hyperspace junkie that I’ve found
Coasting over enemy lines, All we can see are stars,
The radar’s set to pick up mines, we’re wondering where the enemy are.
We’re scanning the scene but nothings there, The silence is oh so sharp,
As they look on the crew get scared, And then a ship comes from the dark.
Falling through heaven through this vacuum here in space.
Did I really find an angel is that star dust on her face.
When I look at her she could have fallen from space into the clouds.
But the smile on her face is frozen is this a hyperspace junkie that I’ve found.
Is this a hyperspace junki, that I;ve found
Is this a hyperspace junki, that I;ve found
Ship draws in with lights down low, We’re wondering whats gone wrong,
Who’s on board nobody knows Where have all the crew gone.
I step on to check it out my men watching over me,
Space suit and helmet now my phasers locked to kill.
Ships run down I radio back there’s no-one left alive,
Leaving now I’m making tracks and then figure catches my eye.
I’ve captured one of the crew and I’ve brought her back on board,
Fallen in love and she has too its hyperspace junki that I’ve caught .
Falling through heaven through this vacuum here in space,
Did I really find an angel is that star dust on her face.
When I look at her she could have fallen from space into the clouds,
But the smile on her face is frozen is this a hyperspace junkie that I’ve found.
Is this a hyperspace junki that I;ve found
Is this a hyperspace junki that I’ve found
This is a hyperspace junkie that I’ve found
